Coalition
Why Endorsements Matter in FL-14
FL-14 is a Hillsborough County district, and Hillsborough County is built on coalitions. Endorsements from faith leaders, small business owners, conservative organizations, and elected officials across Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Sun City Center, Apollo Beach, Plant City, Ruskin, and Wimauma signal to voters that John Peters represents the coalition that actually lives, works, and worships in FL-14, not the Tampa donor base behind the incumbent.
Stand With John
How to Endorse John Peters
The campaign welcomes endorsements from individual Hillsborough County voters and from organizations active in FL-14. The process is the same in both cases: a brief written endorsement and a short call with the campaign so the press team can roll out the endorsement at the right moment in the cycle.
Individual endorsements
Send your name, the FL-14 community you call home, and a one-paragraph endorsement of John Peters through the contact form. Indicate whether the endorsement is for public use or for internal coalition-building only. The campaign confirms every endorsement back to the signer before any public use.
Organizational endorsements
For organizational endorsements such as Republican clubs, faith communities, conservative coalitions, small business associations, and veterans groups, send the name of the organization, the person authorized to issue the endorsement, and any questionnaire requirements. The campaign completes questionnaires in writing and is available for in-person interviews with endorsement committees on request.
Criteria
Endorsement Criteria
John Peters seeks endorsements grounded in two clear standards: alignment with the conservative principles laid out across the issue positions (limited government, fiscal responsibility, constitutional rights, secure borders, and support for FL-14 veterans), and a focus on the families of Hillsborough County over the politics of Washington or Tallahassee.
The campaign does not solicit endorsements that arrive with conditions on votes, appointments, or post-election promises. Hillsborough County voters deserve a representative whose vote is not pre-traded before swearing in.
